What you will help us with
As a front-end Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the quality assurance of our new website, which is a leading platform in the worldwide digital gift card market. You'll be part of our front-end SCRUM team, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality through structured testing and collaboration with our Product Owner and development team. We work with cutting-edge technologies like React, NextJS 14 and Flutter to build the best experience for our customers.
A selection of your daily activities
✅ Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software.
✅ Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to analyze user stories for testability.
✅ Write clear and concise test specifications in Gherkin format.
✅ Participate in daily SCRUM meetings to stay aligned with the development process and priorities.
✅ Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing practices and processes.

What you bring to the table
✅ Proven experience in structured software testing.
✅ Strong analytical skills to dissect user stories and create effective test cases.
✅ Proficiency in writing test specifications in Gherkin format.
✅ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Additionally, it would be nice if you had
✅ A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
✅ ISTQB or TMAP certification, or equivalent experience.
✅ Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Git.
✅ Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.
✅ Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
