What we need your help with

We run several B2B and B2C platforms that offer hundreds of prepaid solutions worldwide. For us, that is just the beginning. With your help, we can improve and stabilize our digital product supply chain further. You will work on the full life cycle of software applications (concept, design, test, release and support) as well as create, maintain and rebuild proprietary software into smooth running microservices.

A selection of your daily activities

• Integrate new APIs to accept new payment methods and products.
• Test and deploy new versions of the backend, services and APIs.
• Fine-tune shared components with frontend developers.
• Work closely with other departments to improve our software services.
• Monitor the performance of our security algorithms and enhance them.
• Give direct support to partners who need to implement our own API.
• Create clean and maintainable code and review code from others.

What you bring to the table

You are someone who can work autonomously on different projects. You can easily adapt to the changing priorities without losing focus of the big goals. You communicate well and are able to explain complex technical matters in plain language.

What you need

• HBO/WO working and thinking level.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with Java, SQL and the likes.
• Familiar with Java, Docker, Elastic search, Vue or similar systems.
• Experienced in developing applications on AWS.
• Knowledgeable with respect to application management aspects, such as certificate management, backup-restore, logging & monitoring.
• Passion for software development with an eye for detail.
• You are a result driven teamplayer, preferably with experience working in Scrum-Agile Teams.
• Quality oriented mindset, critical regarding your own work.
• Take responsibility for the products/issues you are working on.
• Resilient when it comes to working in a hectic environment. Able to work effectively when handling business critical incidents.
• A solid knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Able to communicate with different audiences effectively.
• Available for 32-40 hours to work in our office in Eindhoven.
